Funny Facebook moment of the week.
Having that “I just lost 15 pounds in three months” kind of a day with good photos. Woot!
Austin Moore, Devon Gritolares and 3 others
I got sick for a while and could NOT work out. Glad that part is over and my workout is now working. The hard part is taking that “before” photo. No one wants photos when they are not looking their best. Yet last time I said I got smaller no one was thinking I had “really” lost the pounds, and so I took a photo this time to show it. I moved to Gold’s Gym, used a tight lacing corset 5 days a week (30 dollars Amazon), and got the low fat cookbook for the Alli diet plan ($2 used on Amazon) to do it.
One of the issues with depression like I have, is how many people do NOT think it is as real as something like asthma. Yelling at a person with depression is like blowing air in the face of someone with asthma. At first people are silly with their urge to bully people with depression, but then it gets REALLY mean. I did not make this Internet joke, but I am glad I found it. It was nice to know that OTHER people noticed how bad people with depression are treated by society some days in a “quit your crying” sort of a way. Had to go to a doctor today, and got sick of the long lines. It really sucks living in the ONE western culture that thinks giving people no healthcare money is some fun game. Like the ultra wealthy pointing and laughing at people when they drop dead from things that could have been fixed is some good way for a country to live. And with Trump around it is going to be worse.

The love you like an animal joke never gets old on Valentines.
I started the Alli diet plan with diet cooking book and pills on November 15th. Here is my latest update: Poedaughter7 lost 1 lb since her last weigh-in! Poedaughter7’s lost 10.8 lbs so far. Poedaughter7 3 minutes ago has logged in for 20 days in a row! At the second month it started giving me about a pound of weight loss per week. Using a low fat non oil cooker, the low fat cook book, and the pills has gotten results when going to the gym alone has NOT been working. I had been going to Gold’s gym, and around the block jogging, working out 2 hours a day 5 days a week, and getting no results since 2014.
Facebook moment of the week:
Going to Petersburg or Fort Lee is a big NOPE for me. I do not accidentally avoid these places like the plague.
Andrea E. Menzies There is NO changing my thinking on this issue. I gave them a chance and they failed ultra-bitterly to be halfway civil. You are more likely to get a cat into water.
Andrea E. Menzies On a related note I have mace and knives I keep for self defense in my purse. Anyone trying to drag me to the Petersburg or Fort Lee area will be sliced in the eye. There are strange stories that I liked living there and dealing with military people. I completely hated it with every ounce of my soul, and I am fully sick of getting email about it at this point.

I wanted to go to more protest this week. A few women’s groups at my night school college were getting together for a protest march. Unfortunately, inauguration is outside with rain in January in the Virginia cold. Who made it normal for the inauguration be outside in the coldest month? This is so not the Texas weather I am used to seeing. A famous quote is “Tippecanoe and Tyler Too” the name sake of Virginia’s Tyler college. (http://study.com/academy/lesson/tippecanoe-and-tyler-too-meaning-history-significance.html) “William Henry Harrison became the ninth president of the United States, and he did so with a winning campaign slogan: ‘Tippecanoe and Tyler Too.'” Yet William Harrison “died 31 days into his term of complications from pneumonia, serving the shortest tenure in United States presidential history.” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Henry_Harrison) due to not wearing a jacket in freezing inauguration weather. People should fear inaugration weather for it can kill.

Well, the protests will be huge this year.

At doctor’s today as I am sick with the flu. No going to DC for the inauguration for me this weekend.
2 You and Heather Athena Black
Andrea E. Menzies A few women’s groups wanted me to help protest this week, but I got sick and DC has cold rain up there.
Watching on Netflix the Frida Kahlo movie with Salma Hayek and Antonio Banderas this week. The cover talks about her controversial political and sexual reputation in that she was a communist and openly bisexual. Yet museums don’t avoid her artwork at all, and Netflix has about 12 full PBS specials on her. Laurel Thatcher Ulrich once said the popular phrase “Well behaved women seldom make history.” Kahlo was high on the list of examples to that rule.
Anne and I worked a great deal going door to door for the Hillary vote in Richmond, VA. Sad day.
As a sexual assault survivor from when I was stationed at Fort Lee in 2005, a person ignoring Trump’s rapes really ticks me off. People keep saying the vote had nothing to do with sexism, but let’s face it the vote had to do with sexism.
No Order Payments
I was trying to sell make-up and no one payed me the money! Many people pay lip service to trying to help you get a weekend home based business off the ground selling crafts, freelance work, or make-up. They say they will order half of your full catalog, and hand you a page covered in orders. Then after you order it all with out of pocket cash very few or none will pay! I am having one of THOSE months at this point. It can be a money pit some days to try and make MORE money. Next time I will get the cash up front.
