Welcome to the Reviews! Review blogs are incredibly popular, and comics are a near infinite source free illustrated fiction books to review. Each comic we review is the winner of the “FH7 Web-Comic Weekly Winner Award”, and the author can feel free to post “Award Winning” on their comic. These reviews are getting to be a big deal in book promotional blogs even if it is still at hobby-blog status.

Disclaimer: Just because I have reviewed this artist’s technical skill, and amazing ability to make cash despite many odd perspectives (massive art depictions of suicides) does not mean I advocate any of his ideas at all or in part. This uncensored work is a surreal method of generating controversy and should NOT be attempted at home.
Reviews: Jhonen C. Vasquez has gained much fame for the successful TV Show Invader Zim, and all the T-shirts and other merchandise that Hot Topic sold on the show. He also has done such popular graphic novels as Johnny the Homicidal Maniac and Squee. He now works for Disney as a graphic designer on the ultra popular show “Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja”. However, Jhonen Vasquez is an extremely sleep deprived and insane human who does more wild art. He is an extremely active web-comic, and like most of his fans I follow his latest work with an odd mix of reverence and terror.
His latest blog based web-comic is called No Sleep for Lil’ F*ckup. It is placed on Jhonen’s main webpage, called questionsleep.com. The logo of much of his merchandise is a Z for the zzz of sleep next to a question mark. Jhonen battles mood issues, irritability, sleep and insomnia issues which he depicts greatly in his graphic illustrations. Boy can I relate. It has not stopped his art from having a vast array of fans both nationally and internationally.
The latest storyline for the No Sleep comic story shows with no surprise someone lacking sleep. Many morbid thoughts then occur to them as they lack sleep. Hilarity then ensues…. The reason I follow Jhonen is that I am clearing wishing to mimic his success. Jhonen may make his success look like a “random accident” yet he is a shameless self promoter doing constant advertisement all over comic cons, social media, and churning out material for new comic books every two seconds. It shows a shrewd work ethic. Many aspiring comic artists are startled at his well crafted artistic talent. He has studied his art form. He is a good demonstration at how to do promotion with a sense of humor that does not come across as spam-like or plastic. Unfortunately I can’t give the comic five stars because there is so little of it. Between his many other high paying art jobs there lacks a storyline or any character development to No Sleep. It lacks the allure of Homicidal Maniac, Nail Bunny, or Rape Hobo that made Disney so desperately want to hire him. What the crap is wrong with the heads of the art industry that THIS is what they pay money for? The world may never know, but I am going to keep reading the blogs including the new Tumblr here: http://jhonenv.tumblr.com/ because like a rubber necking car crash it is hard to look away. I say it is great, check it out.
