Yet Another Fantasy Gamer Comic for Webcomics Wednesday, Super-comic Saturday, and Mega-comic Monday Reviews
Welcome to Web-Comic Wednesday, Super-Comic Saturday, and Mega-comic Monday Reviews! My online cartoons are posted at http://www.fh7publishing.com where my webcomics promote Animal Welfare. Comics and web-comics are made into more blockbuster Hollywood movies by the day, they may in fact be the new screenplay. Review blogs are super popular, and webcomics are a near infinite source free books to review. My Technorati rating this week is 19681 at Frozen History Seven Publishing out of about 2 million comic blogs. It is listed here: http://technorati.com/blogs/directory/entertainment/books/page-148/ I am rated Authority: 104 in Comics Reviews up one popularity rank from last week. It is a big deal in book promotional blog obsession land. I had to beat out 3 small Canadian Comic book stores with celebrity interviews for that vast honor so yea… there is that to think about.

Review: This weeks review is Yet Another Fantasy Gamer Comic. I love the title because it seems all fantasy book, game, and video game addicts on the net have a webcomic. These comics become books they get donations for, and next sell on Amazon. It is pretty much a flooded market, even if it is a real way to make extra cash. It is also a fun one to watch. This one had unique qualities that drew me in. This was the most honest tittle I have seen! Also, the comic is in fact well drawn and pretty hilarious. The comic tells it’s own origin story here: “So what’s all this about, then? I’m Rich Morris, Canadian artist and animator. A few years back, my wife and I moved to a city two provinces over from our friends and families. To pass the time one day, I started doodling a series of sketches involving a couple of characters drawn from a gaming world I’d been playing in for far longer than I want to think about too deeply. Wanting to practice her webcoding to share the jokes with the friends we’d left behind, my wife put them up on a very basic website that eventually became the site you see here. Since then, those handful of doodles of a Goblin and a Beholder have grown into a wild and tangled world, and diving in headfirst can be a bit daunting.” The latest comics involve lycanthropes and elves going to rescue a human about to become one. The artist has made an interesting choice to keep the comics in pencil format, and to never do inking on them. It somehow enhances the art to do it in that style. I personally think too many people are over-computerizing their comics these days, so I was happy to see something a bit more “raw” on the drawing scale. I say it is great, check it out!
